S3 #56 - Keeper of the Peace
Monty has just lost the Bridge Too Far and now both sides settle down and reorganize in NW Europe.
The RAF 2nd Tactical Air Force is located close to the frontlines to support 1st Canadian and 2nd British Armies in their drive to the Rhine.
The Luftwaffe is reforming finally in Germany and has lots of fight still left in them.
It is a tactical battle with the Spitfire IX and Bf109G6 matchup up high and the Tiffie(F4U1) and FW190A8 down low.
This series simulates the events in November before the winter and the Battle of the Bulge.
This is a matchup with the RAF 2nd TAF with some help from the nearby 9th TAF and Luftwaffe remaining in Holland and NW Germany.
Each side must attrit the other and cause damage to important ground targets.
Both sides need to be careful how they use there assets attacking targets with stealth and/or proper escort to minimize losses in pilots and airframes.
Keeper of the Peace runs on May 9, May 16, May 23, May 30 and June 6 in the ETO terrain.

ABOUT US
The 550th are primarily a B-24 squadron. We model ourselves after the 450th Bombardment Group. Our goal is to fly historically acurate flight plans where game limits allow.
We fly mainly in the Squad Select Series (S3) on Sunday evenings.
