Comments Hi, I am a pilot and I live just a few miles from Courtland, AL. Do you have any pictures of Courtland Army Air Field during WWII that I can make copies of. Lawrence County did not see a need to preserve local histrory during that time and I am having a hard time finding pictures during that era. Thanks, Adam Thomas

Comments My father flew with Capt. Kluenders crew. SSgt Era P. Horton was the ball gunner. He logged 50 missions. I have been gathering most of my dad's photos and trying to get them in some order. He was killed in the crash of a KB-50 in 1962. I do have many photos of the Bottom's Up crew and missions. Among the momentos I have is a baseball signed by the crew. Most of the names have faded terribly. Crew members were C.Kluender - Pilot, D.L.Brubaker - co-pilot,S.A. Karman - Bombardier, John Burke,B.G. Bickford as Navigators, G. Schwed Flt. Eng., Carl Simmons - radio Operator, Robert Beran, T.K. Snodgrass, EP Horton,W.J. Kuti, John Kanelos, and William Milliken as gunners. I noticed my dads name was not in the roster so I hope this will help. Thank You so much, Era P. Horton Jr
