It was great to see a picture of my uncle Alvin Mikolajczyk along with the crew he fought with during the war. I was only six years old when he was shot down and my memory of him is not to clear,but stories told by the family are.He was greatly loved and missed by the family.

Dear the 450th BG Veterans: I am an air-war researcher and a member of the so called “Aircraft M.I.A. Project”. We collect information on the USAAF crews over Polish territory. I am the grandson of Sgt. John Roven. Unfortunately he passed away when I was very young. I wish I got to know him, but my parents have always said that he was a great man. I am now trying to piece back his life and see if I can get to know him through the oracles of history. I just made a trip to Normandy and it sparked a side of me that just needs to know now.

My mother's brother, Kenneth Grant King, was a crew member of the Leaky Tub. He is located in the center, front row of the crew photo. I recently had a memorial to him airbrushed on my motorcycle. I have a great deal of information about him.

I Flew on "Fast Freight" with Captain Lombard from June to November 1944 as Radio Operator Gunner. the past couple years I Have been able to contact the Flight Engineer, Duane Corporon (He just passed away March 2006), the Tail Gunner Harvey Rusco and the Right Waist Gunner George Fulton through this website.
