Comments For the past 20 years my father had talked more about his time in Italy. I could never understand when I was younger why he didn't talk about this time. Now I understand more.

Comments I had a music teacher named Frank Liberio. He taught our high school jazz band in Seattle (Shorewood High) from 1978 to 1980. Could this be the same Frank Liberio as your # 32549582? I remember him saying he had become a teacher through pursueing the GI bill. Frank was great tenor sax player. A great piano player as well.

Comments My uncle, Frank A Davis, Jr, was among the missing on "Bottoms Up" which was lost over the Adriatic on March 16, 1945. My grandmother, Catherine L Davis, spent 40+ years trying to find out information on the incident, and her son's body. I am so grateful to have found this website with all of the information on the missing plane during WWII. It has greatly helped in "closure" for me and our family. Thank you for posting such great information.

Comments Stunning web site. I only wish my father was alive to enjoy it. Speaking of Frank Dyjor On the Web site he is shown with his crew on Mad Cap Marge. I would enjoy hearing from any crew members or relatives of crew members. Joseph Gallagher, Harman Simler, Waldemar George Anthony Alston, Everett Cich, William Stricklin, Aubrey Kavich, James Vander Kooi, and Robert Freislinger. God Bless them all for their service to our country. They flew in Harm's Way.

Comments I accidently stumbled upon this web site while doing a google search. My father was G.A. Neumeister (George). Although I do have some pictures and other items from his time spent in the service, I would like to hear from people who knew him. My dad passed away in Oct. 1969. I was only eleven and never had a chance to talk to him about his experiences. I look forward to a response. Thanks to all who have worked to put this site together.

Comments I have had the great pleasure of meeting Floyd Perkins of Mancelona, MI. He is the treasurer of the 450th BGH. He was a sheet metal worker in the 721st. I am a mail carrier for the village and have delivered many letters to and from his residence. It was only recently that I had the courage to talk with him. What a great guy!!!!. His eyes lit up when talking about what he did during the war. I felt very honored that he took the time to chat with me. Tho...I did find out that saying "THE 8th" is a bad word. To those veterens of the War that may read this...I say THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!!! Our world may be a lot different than 60+ years ago....but there are many of us who, at least understand, what you had to go through. Air and Ground crew. With a heart felt Thank you...Thank You....one and all... patrick mizgala...mancelona, mi

Comments I love this website, I was referred to it because I am looking for information on my Uncle, Sgt. Wallace A. Galloway, his crew was shot down on March 31st 1945. I would love to have a picture of his crew and the plane if possible. He was with the 723th squadron of the 450th bomber group. It has been most interesting to read some of these diarys and records kept by the Soldiers. I have cried thru many, not because they were sad but trying to imagine being there and their families. I didnt know my Uncle, and all his papers were in a trunk that was stolen from my grandmother in the 70s in Atlanta Ga. so we have nothing to go on. IF anyone sees his name on a picture or can tell me how to find info please email me. Thank you Pauleltte Galloway Hughes
