Comments I was so grateful that you took up the task of keeping the Scrapbook alive. Signed in on the last two sites, BUT this new one is a sight (site) to behold. You've really outdone yourselves. It is so professional-looking. I (and I hope all the other "Cottontailers"), want to thank you for all the time and effort and midnight oil you must have expended to bring us this beautiful site. I flew with the 723rd SQ as a co-pilot with the Captain John Paul Jones, Jr. crew, then when he was wounded, with 1st Lt. Roger A. Kent as first pilot. I'm still searching for my personal records regarding my time with the 450th BG. Especially two crashes we experienced . . . one at Capodochino, Italy and the other on the Island of Vis, off the Yugoslavian Coast. In all, we had 3 crashes. I have ALL the records of the first one, (which happened in Cuba), but nada, zilch on the last two. If anybody from the 450th has any records of the last two crashes, I would be eternallly grateful if they would pass them along. If it helps any,

Comments My wife, Evelyn, and I attended the recent reunion in Nashville. It was both a joyous and a sad occasion. Sad because of the terrible tragedy. Sad, too, because I was the only attending member of my crew. But joyous to be a part of a very special group, the 450th BG.
