Death: April 29, 2003
Burial Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, Sumter Co., FL, USA
Parents: Alfred Partlow (1894- ) and Mary Haze. (1899-)
Spouse: Sonia Alice (Singleton) Partlow (1924-2006) also is buried at the same cemetery.

Mr. Richard Allen Partlow Sr. of Lakeland died of heart failure Tuesday (April 29, 2003) at Lakeland Regional Medical Center. He was 80.
Born in Detroit, he came to Lakeland from Brandon in 1984. He was a minister. He was a member of the Disabled American Veterans. He was a veteran of World War II, during which he was held as a prisoner of war and received a Purple Heart. He was a director of the Harrisburg School of the Bible in Harrisburg.
Mr. Partlow is survived by his wife, Sonia A. Partlow; son, Richard A. Partlow Jr., Lakeland; daughters, Kathleen Corbin, Boston, Christie Wright, Easley, S.C., Julia Ann Andrews, Chattanooga, Tenn., Polly VanValkenburg, Brandon, Ruth Camp, Clarkesville, Ga., Elisabeth Bullard, Box Springs, Ga.; sister, Dolly Roush, Medford, Ore.; half-brother, Jack Blanchard, Antioch, Calif.; 17 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.
