My father Raymond L. Williams is/was a pilot in Maduria in early to mid 44, he lives now in Paris Texas and is about to turn 87 on Dec. 22nd. He was the 2nd. Lt./copilot of the Breezie Weezie #42-52613 when they brought it over from the states and flew it for 5 or 6 missions, another crew took her on a mission in march of 44 and they never returned. He got his 1st Lt. rank and his own crews after that and I don't think he flew the same plane twice in a row from then on.
Raymond was awarded the following Medals during his service:
Distinguished Flying Cross, Oak Clusters, Wings, Stars, Air Medal and should have recived a unit citation
